Photography - A Lifetime Endeavour

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a personal fascination with capturing moments has evolved into a focused, lifelong pursuit of visual storytelling.

I’m a self-taught photographer, which basically means years of experimenting, messing up, learning, improving, and occasionally celebrating a perfect shot like I just won the lottery … a lot’s of WOW’s during that :). Every session, every client, every unexpected moment has shaped the way I shoot and see the world.

And yes… my camera and lenses are ridiculously heavy, but I don’t mind hauling them anywhere — up stairs, across fields, or into tight corners — if it means getting that perfect shot. If you see me climbing something or bending in weird angles, just know it’s all part of the job (and yes, it doubles as my gym membership).

When you work with me, you’re not just hiring someone to press a shutter — you’re teaming up with someone who genuinely cares about your story (and gets way too excited about reflections, shadows, and golden hour). Weddings, portraits, personal projects — I’m there with calm energy, curiosity, and a camera that probably costs more than my car … hahaha :) .

If you feel awkward in front of a camera, perfect — me too :) . That’s why I keep things relaxed and easy. No stiff poses, no awkward “smile… but not too much… maybe less… no, more…” instructions. Just natural moments, real laughs, and the occasional “okay, trust me, this looks cooler than it sounds.”

In the end, I believe photos should show not just how things looked, but how they felt.
If that matches your vibe, I’d love to connect and create images that feel genuine, warm, and maybe even a little epic.

(…but everyone just calls me Zap, probably because it’s easier to yell during a photo shoot 😉)
